C1 DB preference problems
I have activated 3.6.1 for my H10 on a G4 mac running OSX3.6.7. I cannot access preferences to list my camera, so I can't do a gray balance. Any ideas on why this happens? I select prefs from the pull down menu, but the program won't respond. If I shoot an image and go to gray balance, the page is grayed out. 😕

I believe your Preference file has been corrupted for some reason.
Find the HOME/Library/Preferences
Delete the file com.phaseone.application.c1db.plist
Also make sure that your operating system is updated to 10.3.7 or 10.2.80 -
I tried throwing out the prefs as the first thing and I even went back and threw out everything from Capture One 2.9 and the newly installed 3.6.1. and started over. It does the same thing. I am running a Mac G4 800mhz with Panther OS 10.3.7 ☹️ 0 -
I finally figured out the the program was reading a second hard drive that was attached by firewire. I had a backup of C1 2.9 on that drive. I unhooked the drive and C1 DB 3.6.1 works fine. Thanks for your suggestions.

After my last post I went back and I checked the firewire external hard drive and there was NO Capture One anything on it. I had simply shut down the computer and unpugged the external firewire hard drive , threw away the prefs, started the C1 DB... everything was fine. I shut down and restarted with the external firewire hard drive reattached and everything works fine. So, I don't know if the program didn't like 2 hardrives running or what when it is first installed, but it works now! 0 -

I threw out all old capture one software and prefs and everything and I cannot get it to open the preferences. What do I do now? I have a shoot tomorrow and I can't lug my desktop computer with me!! 0
