Since the original post I have discovered that if you work on the Capture One file in Photoshop cs2 and save from within cs2, then Bridge can suddenly read the metadata. There is then clearly a problem for bridge 1.0.1 to read the original Capture One files.

    Can Phase One please respond.

I have had several problems with Adobe Bridge (even the updated version) since installing CS2.

At first, tiff (converted from P25 raw in C!) files opened could not be saved. Attempts at using Save as to overwrite the file failed too.

The only way to save a tiff file once edited is to save it in a different folder under a new name.

This problem is random. At first I thought it only happened with files stored in pre-CS2 installation folders, but subsequently it has turned out that also files in folders created created after the installation are affected by the problem.

THe worst thing was however a sudden impulse on the part of Bridge to delete all developed files plus five hours of processed files in a subfolder.
Bridge simply warned that 'this was an illegal handle' and the files were gone with no trace whatsoever.

Adobe is investigating this and suggests that it might be bad sectors on my harddrive, which is not likely on a Raid 5 server system.

What I am trying to say is that the fault may be in Bridge and not in the files developed by Capture One.

If anybody has had similar experience with Bridge, please tell about and report it to Adobe.

    Regards Michael
