Can Capture One Pro 4x view Canon CR2 files?

I had someone shoot something for me, I can see my Nikon RAW files in the folder, but not his Canon CR2 files. Is 4.x unable to display CR2 files? Or do I have to do something special to make it 'see' them?

  Which Canon model? Obviously if it's a newer body it probably won't be supported by Cap One 4...

  I don't know what model he had, probably a newer model.
