Help! lost library tab

I have somehow collapsed my library tab and am now unable to access it again. I can see the icon but when I click on it nothing happens apart from illuminating orange, the tab does not appear. I have looked on the drop down menus and have so far found no way of reversing this. I have quit the program and relaunched it hoping it would revert to its default settings but it has not. I am now unable to navigate into other folders and am paralysed.

  while in the empty Library Tab, CTRL click where the folder info should be and you get a drop down.
  
  Just select Library from that list and up pops the tool again.
  
  It is funny how it works. You would imaging if you delete a Tab it would disappear but here the icon still remains but all the tool info goes with no obvious method of return.
  
  Mac OS logic would suggest to get a tool back would be a simple task of just asking to show library........ strange? 🙄

  many thanks Gareth for the tip. Shame however this is ony implemented as a short cut.
