Problems with Cropping
Camera: 1ds MkII & 1D Mk II
Win XP
Athlon +3800
2GB RAM
500GB HD
The processed image bears no relation to the crop used especially with rotated and cropped images.
I rotate image maybe just a degree or two. Drag the edges of the crop to where I want them. The processed image is cropped wildly. Its not a matter of losing a few pixels. The crop is way, way off.
I also notice that when an image has a crop pane (window) the focus tool/window becomes eratic. i.e. when you click on a portion of the cropped image the preview pane shows a completely different section of the image.
Thanks

I have been playing around with this a while longer and now it seems that the real problem is rotation and cropping. Crop on it's own sometimes goes astray but crop with rotate just won't work properly.
I am also getting some processed images that are just black. Ugly, ugly, irritating black!

So, now I closed out of C1 and opened again. Instead of three different outputs I selected only one (i.e. previously TIFF, Larg JPEG and small JPEG processed under each tab). So in other words, processing one image at a time. The images processed correctly and weren't black.
That's not fixed the crop/rotate problem though. Just the black image thing.
Thanks
