Batch queue folders
I just started a hard drive clean up and notice I have 3 folders called:
Batch Queue 8.2 (with 147 files using in excess of 300 MB)
Batch Queue 10.0 (with 149 using around 100 MB)
Batch Queue 11.1 (with 416 using nearly 1 GB)
Are these folders needed? Can they be purged?

In the Batch tool tab, there are two tabs for Queue and History. If you go to the History one you see a history list of processed files, and there are two buttons for Reprocess File (presumably useful but I have never used it) and Clear History. Presumably Clear History empties the batch queue files you mentioned. Whether it would clear the old ones, I don't know. But if you were to use the button in the app, and clear the history list (assuming you don't want it) you could then go and see whether your Batch Queue folders have cleared. If they have well and good. If they haven't it is evident that your current version of the app is not using those older folders and they could be deleted.

You've got me wondering now. I just cleared my queue and it did empty the Batch Queue 12.0 folder, but Finder took a few minutes to show that - possibly it was closing a reopening Capture One that made Finder refresh the folder. (Also I have older ones going back as far as Batch Queue 5.1. Those have not been changed by clearing the queue - I conclude that I could do without them and the app is no longer looking at them. To be ultra cautious you could move the folders somewhere else rather than just delete them so you could move them back if Capture One didn't like it.)
