Panasonic lens identification not working
Are there any Panasonic users out there? If you are having the same problem I would appreciate a comment, and it might be a good time to add your request to mine.
I submitted a case to PhaseOne last November that lens identification for Panasonic Cameras does not work at all. They agreed that it does not work and said they would ask R&D.
So far nothing. I have opened a new case to ask if they would address the old case:

The lens identification for lenses on Panasonic cameras does not work correctly. For JPG Images, the lens name or type is not reported at all in the Metadata. For RAW images, Instead of reporting the name of the lens, the focal length and aperture the lens was used at is reported where the lens name should be. In Olympus E-M1 images the lens name is reported correctly, for both Panasonic and Olympus lenses. If one has only one or two lenses, the situation can be managed, but if one has several zoom lenses with overlapping ranges, (e.g. starting out with cheaper zooms and then upgrading to pro-quality later) the lens cannot be identified. Consequently searching or sorting by lens is impossible, and it is not possible to assign a lens profile correctly.
