    A suggestion I can give you is that you open Activity Monitor and keep an eye on used RAM in general and allocated memory by Capture One processes in particular. During the shoot, both the general memory use and the Real Memory can push the computer over its limits. Intermittent restarting might help (although difficult to sell in the middle of a shoot). Real Mem for the Capture One process should stay well below 2 GB, perhaps even lower.

    Use this initially for troubleshooting and as a workaround if you can determine the threshold for healthy/non-healthy workflow.
