Capture Pilot obsolescence under iOS
My devices are warning me that Capture Pilot won't be able to run under the next version of iOS. Apple is pulling support for 32-bit apps. That's three months away and people could be caught out. Does anyone know whether the product is to be updated?

Now that's a useful post David but you don't say whether you have raised a Support Case to ask Phase directly.
Of course I would be surprised if they were not aware of the potential challenge but nevertheless with a few weeks to do some pre-emptive guidance about grabbing the update at the first opportunity (or not) would be timely. for the mac fraternity - perhaps the Windows fraternity too if the product is likely to be changed.

I can raise a support case, but I find I usually get a more helpful and quicker response here. 0 -
OK, well it will be interesting to see if that can apply to this sort of question.

You already cannot find it on the App Store via search -- I believe this came into effect today.
There is no surprise that Phase haven't done anything about their Capture Pilot app... Here's hoping this will kick them into high gear.0 -
The reply from Phase One was that the don't comment on potential new releases, but notwithstanding that there was no need to panic! 0 -
The 'not compatible in the future' warning came with iOS 10.2.x or 10.3 (not sure, not that important) and I brought it to Phase One's attention.
We'll see what will surface over the coming months. 😉0 -
:wink indeed :) 0
