Process time - depends where I save it?

If I save a processed file in the same folder as my original, it takes minutes to to do so.
If I save it in another folder it takes seconds.
This is a real pain in the butt. Does anyone else have this problem?

  you can create a subfolder on your original folder, then the conversation process time is not low.

  Thanks Martin, I am doing that now which is what I should be going anyway. But it is a fault in the program. Very frustrating if I forget because I'm tied up for ages unable to do anything. No other program I have does this.

  Don,
  In CO 4.8.x Pro, Process Recipe, Advanced tab, you can set a Sub Folder relative to the Output or Image Folder for automatically saving your output in a sub folder.

  Yes I have the same problem, but only when saving as jpeg, not tiff. I´ve done as Paul_E said and things have improved a lot, but I agree it´s a fault in the program.
