Keyword search on entire catalogue
Hi Folks.
I'm creating a Catalogue in C1P8.1, which seems to be a painless exercise, compared to V7 that is. Not quite Lightroom yet but definitely getting there.
I've figured out how to enter and search for Keywords on a specific catalogued sub-folder but how is this done over the entire catalogue? My folder structure is based on month and year e.g. Jan 2014 and then Parented [in Explorer] under year. So if I have 10 Parent folders catalogued, say 2001 thru 2010, how do I search all of these folders simultaneously for one Keyword e.g. a person name?
The original images are not included in the Catalogue structure.
Thanks,
Lyndon

I've answered my own question 😂
In the Library under Catalog Collections, you highlight All Images . All selectable Keywords are the presented in the Filters Tool. Select the appropriate radio button [or a selsection of] and the results are shown.
I now have 10K images in my catalogue but I'm building this up slowly. Working very well indeed without the lockups experienced in V7. V8.1 could well be well on the way to a true cataloguing/editing package, especially as it now has access to Photoshop directly.0
