Different output folders for process recipes
Dear Capture One 6 Pro user,
I have been using Capture One for a few weeks now and I love the excellent developing quality. I use process recipes very often as they giving me the chance to get the desired results very fast. However, one issue i can not find. I just want to set different output folders for my process recipces, but it seems that this is not possible. Changing the output folder seems to affect all recipes.
It would be great of have the opportunity to set for example a specific output folder for HDR and Panoramic images by using the recipes and not to change it manually.
Anyone an idea how to get this done?
Regards,
Joerg

Using the Advanced tab in each recipe allows you some flexibility in naming different folders. 0 -
Thank you ver much for your quick reply! The advanced tab allows some settings, but the output folder is fixed. Maybe this would be a feature request for the next updates.

Or maybe you need additional help.
At the Advanced tab you'll find the Root Folder entry. In the drop down list choose 'Select Folder'. You can select a different folder for each recipe.
You can also use the Sub Folder entry. It allows you to define a subfolder within your selected root folder. And last but not least you can also use the Sub Name field (while we are at it anyway). The value you enter here can be used in the Output Naming tool to add to the output file.
So many options already available... 😉0 -
Paul,
thank you very much for your feedback. In the meantime I have contacted Phase One support with a feature request. In fact, regarding to the feedback i got from the support, there seems to be a problem with the windows version of C1. The mentioned function seems to work fine on mac, but windows version has got a problem with that. Phase One is trying to solve this issue soon.
