Screen resolution problem

My HP LP2475w monitor has a native resolution of 1920 x 1200 and this is what the driver is running and at 32bit colour.

However Capture One 8.2.2 requests that a resolution of 1280 x 800 at 96dpi and 24bit colour be used. Such non native resolution is scaled and looks terrible.

Can someone explain why Phase One is asking for this? in addition dpi is a function of screen diagonal dimension. It is not something that the user sets.

  The criteria are minimum resolution, not required.
  So you are fine.
  
  Custom text size is something that can be set in Windows in display settings..
  This is by default 96dpi which is what Capture One will require for text to look "normal"
