File Formats
First- THANK YOU, Phase One for rescuing this product. I use this daily; as much or more than any single software product for professional photographers.
Second, I'd like to be the first to request that support for multiple file formats be a central part of any future evolution of this product. Professional photographers wear many hats, and one of EM/iView's largest advantages was the ability to catalog, view & play multiple file formats beyond still images. I'm sure we all have varying needs for which files we need to catalog, but it's CRUCIAL to continue support & be able to play (within the catalog itself) ALL video file formats, PDF's, Word documents, etc. Plus the continued support of the various camera Raw formats.
Thank you again for listening to the needs of the professional photographer.

Sorry, but I may have missed this, but where is it written or said that Phase will be reducing the number of file formats supported?
It would only be in their interest to get as broad as possible support across any/all file formats, IMHO.
So, yes, I do hope that this is not the case, but I find it unlikely

PS: We danes are open minded 😊 and in true danish sprit Phase should be so too!0 -
When it comes to Expression Media software it is too soon to comment on what the future may hold, but rest assured there will be good things to come. We have no intention of restricting files, only enhancing support for this product. Although supporting video files and other media would be extremely beneficial, as the main focus will be integration with Capture One I think RAW formats will be the primary concern here. If it is possible for the OS to support other files then it should be relatively simple (I would think) to perform some further integration. 0
