Importing images from camera

I don't find a way to import images shot on CompactFlash on my IQ180 directly into capture one.
When I connect my Canon 1Ds the C1 software automatically makes a popup window and prompts to import images into C1.

I have to use an extern card reader and click and drag to import images...
What's the story about that?

I find this very inconvenient.

  The IQ180 is not designed to be a card reader... instead it is designed for exceptionally fast tethering considering the files size it produces. This requires different way of communicating to the computer so it will not load as an external disk.
  
  That you can do this with a 1Ds is unique to that camera. Generally cameras that can tether to Capture One cannot be used as card readers in Capture One.
