Check for Updates give "Server Connection Error"
I have C1 for Windows V8.2. It is configured to automatically check for updates daily.
I notice that the Updates section in the Preferences dialog says "Last Successful check 05/04/2015 20:32:03". I am assuming it is using my UK date format dd/mm/yyyy.
When I click on the "Check for Updates" button, the progress indicator spins for several minutes and eventually displays a "Server Connection Error" dialog containing the message "An error occurred while trying to get product information. A connection to the server could not be established. If the problem persists contact support."
No other applications on my PC are having any problems connecting to the internet. Is anyone else seeing this?

Can happen and can have several causes. As suggested, try later and if it persists, contact support.
By the way, 8.2 is the latest version for Windows at the moment.0
