Slow tethering compared to version 11

I loved how fast version 11 displayed images (2-3 seconds) but I find that version 12 (6-8 seconds). Nothing has changed on my Apple Mid'15 MBP running OS10.14.2, Tether Tools cable and two Canon 5DIV. Perhaps someone could give me a tip to speed it up to version 11's range.

Best option here is to create a tech support case (via the link in my profile) and send us your log files, which can be generated via the Scripts > Get Logs option.
