Live Preview is Working, sort of

So I've been waiting for years for a version of Live Preview that actually works so I don't have to do a program restart after using. I'm on C1 5.1.1 and just tried it again on my MacBookPro running 10.5.8. As long as I launch Live Preview before opening the lens it works fine. Great news. H2/ P25+

Now what doesn't seem to work. When I zoom in then try to fit to frame I only get the left side of the frame in my Live View Preview. I can zoom with the slider. The magnifer tab is buggy. It zooms in but not sure how to zoom out besides the slider. Then the preview goes to half frame. Frustrating... No way to crop that I can figure out. Or to rotate. All pretty basic stuff in previewing the shot. Definately not ready for clients that are used to shooting with Leaf.

And to think the main reason for upgrading to the Plus was Live Preview ☹️ It's been over 2 years and it's still buggy.

If anyone is having better luck let me know.

Stretch,
I think you should start a support case to get more specific examples to Phase One.
Although the Live Preview feature isn't perfect it does work. It won't work like you find in DSLR's just by advent of a CCD over a CMOS chip but the feature does do as advertised, Live Preview.

I will offer some screen shots to the support case I have started as soon as I get a chance. I do think it's weird that one cannot put a crop on a preview. Seems pretty basic. Don't get me wrong, I'm thrilled that it finally works.
