Does this incongruency matter? Why is it there?

My action log shows a fair number of items:
"unable to scan media file: imagename"
Yet all the thumbnails are in place, and
all the previews are in place.

???

MP1.01.5...

  That could have something to do with it since Lion isn't officially tested/supported yet. However that error could mean a few different things, for example your Media Preview may not be able to render.

  Thanks Drew, except that the media preview does render.
  Everything works as advertised.
  
  Lion: Oddly only on Lion have I been able to get any of
  these DAM versions to work. Is it cuz I have a new clean
  system in place? As we have read, many
  folks have frustrating times with this software. I'm
  starting to think there must be some kind of conflicts
  way deep in the systems relative to other software
  loaded or who knows what. Are you folks trying to
  puzzle that out? Seems like a daunting task. Good luck.

  I'm having the same issue on a Win7 64 system. Everything works but the log says unable to scan.
