Why didn't registered users know about 5.01?

It would have been nice to receive an email or even see a post letting us (especially those that PURCHASED the program that there was an update. It would be a good idea if we were informed of the changes in 5.01 as well.

In your user preferences, look at the Update pane. What does it say for "auto check for updates"?
weekly, daily, never?

It says, "daily."
Would also like to see what the new keyboard shortcuts are.
