New Capture One 4 installation CD is full of scratches

Today I received my Amazon.com order of Capture One 4 from the online software distribution firm Green Valley Place, and was very disappointed to see that the installation CD was full of scratches and blemishes on the bottom. 👿 This CD came out of a factory sealed box from PhaseOne. I do not know if the installation CD can actually download the software to my computer, due to the various scratches. Fortunately, as I have been using the 30 day free trial for Capture One 4, I could activate my existing software by typing in the product key. Still, it seems unsatisfactory for the the brand new software CD I purchased to be scratched as though it was used and mistreated by someone. If I need to reload the software with this CD sometime in the future, I am not sure that it will work correctly. PhaseOne, are you listening? Is this typical of your software's manufacturing quality control? 👿 ❓

  We are using a subcontracter for CD manufacturing and no it is not normal.
  
  
  Software can always be downloaded from our site, you can make a CD back up of installation file and if you want a new manufacturing CD, then I am sure we can send you one if you contact us! 😄

  Just a comment...most of these vendors that sell new and used software can and do shrinkwrap themselves...so factory sealed might/might not apply. The key thing would be to make sure the software has not been registered yet...and PhaseOne has a user controlled online registry that allows you to see and control your software....and allows you to download current and past versions.
  
  My pristine V1.0 CD has been used exactly once...<g>....

  After going through the same scenario 4 time with scratched / damaged CD's I did the same thing. Down load and burn the program from PONE and keep the Key. Man My endor was getting mad at me but what do you do. But don't worry there will be a new version within 14 days or so.
