A lot of proxy creation failed after upgrading
CP11 keeps logging "proxy creation failed" and the details say "image may be damaged".
Using CP10 gives no error at all with the same files. I can also open them just fine in Adobe Camera Raw.
Already tried restarting, reinstalling CP11 and uninstalling CP10.

Please contact Support, and be sure to include a complete set of log-files, so they can dig deeper. 0 -

Does the edit work or fail?
In other words are you seeing something that matches the warning in some way?
The "image" may not refer to the original but the proxy preview being created.
Are you re-editing a previous V10 edit or doing something completely new with the image?0 -

CP11 converted my catalog. Converted catalog throws error.
CP10 uses the backed-up catalog fine.
The content of both catalogs are the same apart from the fact that it was converted. Local files have not been altered either.
Tried clearing the Cache\Previews folder but that didn't help.
Here are some log entries (I'll still open a support case).

Are all the problem files dng files?
And are you running in Pro mode. (I'm assuming yes but always best to check ....)0 -
98% of my photos are DNGs. I have not let the process finish but yes, out of the 7 that error'd out they were all DNGs. But a lot of them were OK.
C11 Pro mode.0 -
This is a long way form eny direct experiecne I have but ...
There are a number of variants of the dng spec. Not all are supported. However if they worked in V10 (?) then they presumably would be expected to work in V11. And looking at the screen capture some of them seem to be quite old so it seems to be unlikely that it is a "new and unsupported" variant issue.
Otherwise there are size issues (too small, too large?) to be considered but that would also have been the case with V10.
I think this is almost certainly a case for Support to look into as Christian has already suggested.
