Reset path for file

I'd like to be able to change the path in a batch action for multiple files in one action.

Purpose:
I'm using Media Pro to keep track of receipts. Without paper receipts, I sometimes have only the monthly statement. I can put dummy files in for each transaction, but when the statement comes out, I want to be able to reset the 30 or 40 transactions so that they point to the same statement pdf.

Suggestions?

  I do not understand the question. Others maybe understand but perhaps it's better to give some more information?
  What is your present workflow and what would you like to change exactly?

  Menu: Find->Reset Paths... Works for only a single image that I select. I need it to work for multiple randomly selected images.

  Reseting a path for a single image or multi-single images does not make any sense to me at all...
  
  However, it is possible (i'm using it with migrations etc) to resetting the path on a folder level. Be sure that u use only one top-level folder with all images (in subfolders) within. Than it's possible to quickly rebuild the situation on a new hard drive or computer.
  
  What you want maybe does make sense but that is depending on your workflow and you have not mentioned anything about that at all.

  This is extremely frustrating, especially when the Find Missing Items works as expected in EM2.
