DNG - Am I missing something???

My normal process saves .nef's as .dng for archival purposes. Processed .nef's are outputed as .tif's.

I saved a processed .nef as a .dng and noticed that CO1 doesn't see the adjustments. Shouldn't CO1 see its adjustments made to the file? If so, where did I go wrong?

  Currently, when processing to DNG, CO 4.x does not save adjustments to the DNG.
