Iview upgrade - now incorrect orientaion of some CR2 images

Hello,

I've just upgraded from Iview and now have Expression Version 2.0.1631.0. I 'updated' the Iview catalogue by opening in EM2 and then saving.

My Canon 550D CR2 portrait images are OK in Thumbnail view but appear 90% rotated in the Media Tab view. If I rotate the Media Tab view to correct portrait orientation then the Thumbnail rotates. I can't get both views to be the same. I note that the Tiff version of the image is not affected, IE both both portrait Thumbnail and Media Tab Views are correct.

This only affects my Canon D550 CR2 portrait images and NOT my Canon D350 CR2 portrait images.

Have any Iview upgraders experienced this problem?

BTW: I have logged this with support but I'm having some difficulty in explaining the problem.

  To advise the forum that support have resolved the problem. I needed to have installed the latest Canon codec for RAW images.
