Update Capture One 6 Express

When I try to open a RAW file in my Capture One 6 Express it gives the option to update to C1 7 - what is it? Is there a Capture Express 7? When I updated it downloads the Capture One 7 Pro - is it a trial version? Why such a good program comes with such non clear instructions?

  Yes it is confusing. No there isn't a Capture One Express 7 and nor have Phase One either confirmed or denied if a new Express version will exist.

  To reach Phase One support, have you created a support case? They are extremely fast. This is a user-to-user forum. There is already another thread on this topic. Maybe you'd better look there?

  To clarify what I posted earlier, yes the download is a time-limited trial version of Capture One Pro 7. There is no Capture One Express 7.
