X64 and C1 3.7.7
just to say that I noticed the new release has fixed the warning dialogue box that used to run every time you started x64 ("not enough memory").
nobody says so in any of the upgrade notes, but it appears to have been fixed now. maybe Vista caused this check and minor fix.

Thanks peegeenyc for the info 😊 . I had being using 3.7.3 on my XP64 and hadn't upgraded it because of the known problem of running 3.7.4 on the XP64. And as this is my main work PC, I didn't dare install any of the other updates fearing that it may not work on XP64 like the 3.7.4 Maybe I will finally upgrade it to 3.7.7.
Btw. did you face the slowness issue on the XP64 that others have reported with version 3.7.7 ?
Cheers,

Just installed the 3.7.7 on my XP64. Unfortunately for me, the message "not enough memory" is still there. But at least it works 😊 . 0 -
that's odd - I dont get it anymore, and had it on every upgrade version for over a year and a half now.
sorry for assuming my experience was general.
at least its just an annoying dialogue box, and nothing more. dismiss it and end of story.0 -
yup, you are right, it is a small annoyance. Doesn't really matter... It works on the XP64 and that is what matters 😊 ! 0 -
That's odd - I can't get 3.7.7 to install properly on X64, upgrading from 3.7.3. When running the setup program, the licence dialogue box is empty (so you agree to nothing!) and during the install it comes up with a helpful warning saying "\\ not found". The dialogue about Photoshop doesn't appear at all. The install didn't replace the 3.7.3 icon, but clicking it brings up 3.7.7 instead. I then get the dialogue box about not enough memory, followed by "RCSDK.dll not found". But it actually seems to work so far regardless. I'll have to give it a proper workout and see!
