Images blurry on import to C1
Today I imported a range of images to C1 after a few months break, as I have been using Lightroom exclusively for the past six months. All of the images appear slightly blurry or out of focus. When I look at the same images in LR there are perfectly in focus and sharp. They were taken in various locations with a range of cameras including a Nikon D800E, A Leica Monochrom and a Fuji 100s. I am using version 7.2 of C1. I would appreciate any thoughts on what might be causing this. Thanks.

Hi Michael
Not sure what type of Mac you're using, but if you are seeing *slightly* out of focus previews and using a retina display device, maybe check that you are rendering your previews for your monitor type.
For example on a laptop: Retina previews-> 2048 Regular monitor previews->1024
You can set your preview pixel size in Preferences->Image->Preview Image Size (px):
Good luck

Hi Chuck,
Thanks for the quick reply. It is set at the default of 2560. However, changing it to a lower figure has had no impact. It has always been set at 2560 and when I look at older images they are still displaying correctly now . All of the recent images are OK in Lightroom. Very strange!!0 -
Maybe a preset during the import of the images ❓ 0 -
No presets were applied at import. I have deleted some from the catalog and re-imported them. However, the problem still exists. 0 -
Can you illustrate your problem with a couple of screenshots? 0 -
How do I attach the screenshot in the reply? 0 -

You can paste a link with the "Img" tag to the image, which obviously resides elsewhere on the interwebs.0 -
Paul, I do not have a website, so these images are just on my laptop. 0 -

Put them online with something like http://tinypic.com.
Upload for Message Board, copy the embedded URL, paste it here.0 -

Drew, apologies but can you give me the idiots guide on what to do? When you say put them online are you referring to my desktop? I also cannot see an upload option for the Message Board. Thanks.0 -
1. Go to http://tinypic.com
2. Choose File via http://tinypic.com
3. Choose "Resize" drop down, selecting "Message board"
4. Upload file.
5. Copy Link for Message Board
6. Paste link in Forum Reply here.0 -
Drew, these are the links for the two images. Thanks for all your help.
