Setup question

I have been using CaptureOne 7 and modified its configuration to make it easier for me to use. Yesterday I (finally) downloaded the trial of version 8 and ran it expecting that it would pick up the existing C1 7 UI configuration settings. It did not do so, but it did pick up my existing recipes, so I was wondering:

1) Is it running the default UI configuration because it is a trial rather than the purchased product? And

2) Is there any way to force it to adopt the existing UI configuration settings I currently have for version 7?

Of course I can go through the process of configuring the UI for version 8 but it seems like a useless effort if there is some way to make it use the existing UI configuration. I looked through the settings in the CaptureOne Library folder but found nothing addressing the UI settings.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

  CO trials are fully functional.
  
  With UI settings I assume you mean the workspace. If you saved your workspace in CO7, you should be able to select in CO8. One time action, few mouse clicks.
  
  Workspaces are stored in the Capture One application support folder under the Workspaces subfolder.

  Thank you. I changed my C1-7 Workspace but perhaps never saved it. Since C1 always used my new workspace it never occurred to me that I needed to save it as well.
  
  I have now done that and loaded it into version 8 and now it conforms to my needs as well.
