20d connection problems
I've spent a couple of days scratching my head, searching the forum and trying to work this out but to no avail.
To cut a long story short(ish)
A couple of months ago I'd downloaded the trial version of c1pro, got it working successfully with my powerbook & a 20d. After a couple of weeks an accident in the studio damaged the powerbook screen rendering it un-useable so I simply did without.
I series of events saw me replace the powerbook with a macbook pro but then get lucky and find someone with a screen that would fit the powerbook. The thing is that I now can't get either of them to recognize the 20d when trying to shoot tethered, even the once fine powerbook!
macbook pro is running 10.4.6 (not updated purposely after reading some of the threads on here)
powerbook is updated to 10.4.7
20d communication is set to normal
using a very short cable
Ideally I want to run capture one on the macbook pro but am simply not getting any connection just the spinning barber pole. The macbook pro does recognize the camera when it is plugged in.
Any clues greatly appreciated.
James
