UI Unexpected behaviour
I am trying to switch completely to C1-11 for my Raw workflow but stumble on a couple of things I am trying to get my head around.
Any suggestion are much appreciated.
1. Floating tools are excellent and make the work space extremely flexible but why are they persistent? I would love to have a way to hide them. I was expecting that floating tools would be connected to the tool tab, like in the colour tab you could have the colour editor and the colour balance open but when going to another tab say the Process recipes the colour tools are not needed.
2. Is there anyway to record a keyboard shortcut for different work spaces. I did not find it but is there a workaround?
3. I wish there was the option to make a keyboard shortcuts for Reset and temporary Alt-reset options for the different tools.
4. I have my main Large viewer on my left screen and browser and tools on my right screen. but when restarting the program sometimes stacks both windows on the left screen? Switching between work spaces does not give any problems.
Any suggestion are much appreciated.

Well it sounds like you want to customize the tool tabs, not use floating tools. You can customize any tool tab in Capture One, and add or remove any tool you want to/from them.

You can create any number of keyboard shortcut sets in the keyboard shortcut editor.0 -

Not really because for example there is not enough space to have all colour editing tools and a histogram and layers in a tool tab...

I know that keyboard shortcuts can be created but there is no option to have a keyboard shortcut for a saved work space. But you can have shorcuts to hide/show viewers Show/hide browser move tools l/r etc.
Switching between work spaces with shortcut would be great.0 -

Best to make you Enhancement Proposals to the C1 development team using a Support Case. That is the approved route. Bear in mind this forum is, by intention, User to User and so NOT an official support or suggestions route, even if interesting subjects are raised and acknowledged.
HTH.

As for room to have many tools on one tools tab : I also have thumbnails and tools on second monitor on my right but I oriented this second monitor vertically...
Takes a little getting used to but I like it.
Plenty of room for tools. I have even combined some tool tabs.
The monitors are on arms so I can adjust heights easily.0
