Luminosity Masks?

Is there any thing like luminosity masks in Capture One? This is important for landscape.

It seems Phase One invested a lot in how masks are managed, but not how they’re created.

  You mean that the mask's opacity is depending on the luminosity of the underlying images? Currently not.

  for some time I thought it would be great we could do more image editing task in c1 but now I shift my approach in the opposite direction. the reason is that there is always something missing, for example a simple luminous mask may work great with some images but you will often see the need too improve the mask further but now the tools you need are not there. adobe added something really clever with the lates raw update but also this approach has limitations. far more interesting imho is what you can do with affinity photo you can develop the file in an unbound 32bit space !
