Going back, it does seem to be doing this with both my Phase One back and Canon files. I am on a 2009 Mac Pro with Mavericks. Well, it is good to hear other people are having this problem maybe Phase One people will be able to track down the problem. I have been using this program for 15 years and have a very Love/Hate relationship with it. Maybe I will down grade to 8.2.1 for the time being.

    Hi everyone !

I just try the 8.3 which react the same as 8.2.2 ...

I just notice something new : 8.2.1 developing is using the fan of my computer at quite full speed and very quick. 8.2.2 and 8.3 are developing slower but don't use the fan so quick and not full speed.
I make the test many times and it reproduces each time.

does someone have the same behavior ? it seems that P1 changes really something in the process of developing ...

I just loaded 8.3 and have not had time to check the slowing down process yet. In my case and some others it is progressive, process is fast at first and then slows down going from 5-7 seconds to almost minute each after 200 images.
I don't think the support people look on here any more. I will try and check out the behavior in the new version and do a support case.It would be frustrating though if they came out with a new version already without fixing this. There have been several people on here commenting on the problem now. If you did not process more then a few images at a time you would not notice it.
I have done a support case in the past for other issues and it was not very satisfying, I was instructed to go through a lot of work re installing and cleaning things out. Then was told there was nothing they could do. It was only later after numerous other people reported the same issue that they fixed it.

Just confirming that the update to 8.3 did not fix the issue for me. Still the same... Will file a support case as well.
