Pick tool C1 9.3

Since I upgraded to C1 version 9.3 I appear to have lost the ability to pick luma point, color corrections and so on. Curiously the mouse pointer keeps changing/flickering from the relevant eyedropper mouse pointer to an arrow.

Has anybody else experienced this?

  Oddly, because I am using C1 on OS X, A reboot seems to have fixed the problem.
