Sony A7 mk ii naming when tethered
Shooting tethered, the naming seems messed up. I have Capture set to "name" + "camera counter", which has been my method for years. With the Sony camera tethered, every time I re-start the camera, change battery, or unplug usb cord, the camera counter number is not sequenced and has even repeated and added the (-1) to file name. It does hold the correct sequence when re-starting C1 app. And yes, the file numbering is correct when shooting to card.

In users/shared/Capture One is a sub folder called CaptureCore.
Bin this (with the app quit) then try the workflow again...0 -
This has happened to me too, and the captureCore bin didn't help at all. 0 -
I have always had this problem and have to sort by date, but then the ipad Capture Pilot doesn't have a similar sort option and throws me off on set with clients.
Has anyone figured this out? I'm disappointed to see that the last reply to this was 5 years ago.0
