    Hello Marion,

    Probably you can use Exiftool for this, I found some interesting entries:
    On this blog from Hans Loepfe i read how he wanted bring information from the EM2 database into the Exif fields. In his situation it was about geodata but it's the same principal.

    I'm not a developer so I can not help you with finetuning these scripts but maybe another one on this forum?

    I'm aware of ExifTools
    I've used it in the past
    If I remember correctly, it either doesn't work with mac, or there wasn't enough of a UI for me to feel comfortable.

    I'll look at it again; it was over a year ago that I looked

    ExifTool has been my saviour with image processing. I use it both in OS X shell scripts and EM2 AppleSripts. I can make samples available if anyone is interested.
