Export Image manually ≠ Export Image by Recipe Process

When exporting a picture (as jpg) manually (= Menu: File > Export Images > Variants) I get a different result as when exporting the same picture(as jpg) by recipe (=Menu: File > Process)!?
Differences:
1) the icons
2) the file-size of the pictures: In my case 4.9 MB (export by recipe) and 5.6 MB (export manually)

  The difference comes from the thumbnail that is always included in the Export option, and optionally can be disabled (as you did) in the Process option. Select it when processing and size and thumbnail will be the same.

  With the thumbnail option enabled the exported file-size increased now to 5.3 MB vs 5.6 MB. So still a small difference.
  
  But I have the same type of problem when exporting the originals (dng-format): Manual export = 18.4 MB vs Recipe* export = 24.9 MB
  * PROCESS RECIPE: Everything disabled
