1/2 price capture control
I got an email this morning about 1/2 price on the "in app" purchase of capture control as add on to Capture Pilot. Today only.
It still seems to be full price, Maybe because it is already tomorrow in Denmark, unless there is something I don't know on how to purchase it.

Many customers have experienced problems when trying to purchase Camera Control for Capture Pilot with the announced discount. Unfortunately, we cannot fix the problem ourselves as it originates in the App-store. We have contacted the iTunes app-store tech support, and they are working to solve the problem.
To make sure that all of our customers can get Camera Control with the promised discount, we are going to lower the price of Camera Control with 50% again from Thursday to Friday next week (16/2-17/2) . Check back then if you’re unable to complete the purchase at the promised price today!
We apologize for the inconvenience.0 -

I would expect yes. Check this. In iTunes, iTunes Store (left column), App Store (top center). Search for Capture Pilot. Buy the app (it is free). Next, buy the in-app purchase. When you buy your iPad at a later date, you can load the app to it, either through iTunes or through iCloud. Of course, use the same Apple ID for iTunes as in your iPad (some people have more IDs).
I have not bought any app before I had my iPad, so I am not sure it works.0 -
Capture Control is an in-app purchase so capture pilot needs to be on the ipad first. 0 -

Is this an assumption or a result from your efforts? Just checking and learning. I assumed that you could purchase from iTunes independently from installation on an iPad (or registering an purchased iPad).0 -

The application (Capture Pilot) needs to be LAUNCHED in order to access the In-App purchase. Since you cannot, unfortunately, launch an App in iTunes, Capture Pilot needs to be installed on an iOS device in order to access the Camera Control App and purchase it.0 -
