Effect of ICC Profile: P25/CaptureOne?
When I open a new Session, and import images off the CF card, from the P25, I see the Previews start to flow in to CaptureOne. As they come in, I see them initially come in at a certain exposure, but then, maybe two to three seconds later, I assume the ICC profile kicks in, and the Preview lightens up, by a GREAT deal. If I was to describe it in stops, I'd stay 2/3 to a full fstop.
Is this indeed the effect of the profile, when it lightens like that? I even go in later, and change the Preview to all the various P25 profiles, and yes, it might have a slight color change, but one of exposure.
What is that first Preview; the first thing that I see, for that two or three second period? Where is it coming from? What is it being read from?
I guess I\"m trying to understand what's going on. Could the ICC profile be, in effect, \"pushing\" the exposure, similar to how you'd \"push\" E-6 in the old days?
Thanks,
Mark Tucker

Hi. I am curious if you ever solved your problem. I have a similar issue. When I first load my images the thumbnails look great. Beautiful color, beauiful saturation. But when the image is displayed in the larger preview windo, it turns green grey and very unsaturated. Any ideas? 0 -
Sounds very similar to the issue I am talking about in this thread...
