Best is to create a new session (file). You can create a new session and move the folders to that new session. You can also delete the session file only and create a new session with same name in same location. This basically refreshes the session file.

    Paul,

When I create a new Session, it appears that I must use a different name from the original one. Is that correct? If I try to delete the existing .col50 file, I get a message saying that I am not supposed to place it in the trash. Should I delete it from the trash, or will C1 go into a frenzy over that?

    Rob, let's share some details.

    - I make a new session (this becomes your existing corrupt session) in my Pictures main folder and give it a name TestDelete
    - I close CO6
    - I delete TestDelete.col50 from the Pictures/TestDelete folder (it is still in the OS X trash bin)
    - I start CO6; if TestDelete was the session I closed it with, it provides the Recent Session dialog
    - from that dialog or from CO6 I create a new session TestDelete
    - CO6 has created a new TestDelete.col50 session file in the same location as previous version and all session folder in place.

The key step is to quit Capture One before deleting the offending .col50 in the Finder. Then reopen C1 and create a new Session with the correct name and location.

    Thanks, Paul.
