Auto Rotation not always correct

    Were you pointing the camera downwards during the shoot? This may sometimes confuse the orientation. Besides that I do not recall I read similar issues here.

    Ohhh sorry,

    I checked it out one more time and more accurate. Now I saw that all portrait fotos weren´t turn in the right direction. Have I choose a wrong setting somewhere in the software?

    I am not aware of a software setting or preference that controls orientation (landscape or portrait). Bottom-line is whether CO6 opens the images in the right orientation or not and paramount here is how your camera was setup during the shoot (auto-orientation setting in-camera).

    To rule out any affect Nikon Capture NX2 has in the process, I suggest you focus on images that are not affected by NX2 like new images that come straight from the camera into CO6.
