Exif information on thumbnails

I'm sure there is a way of doing this but I can't find it. How do I select which information is displayed under the thumbnails. At the moment I can only see the filename. I would like to be able to see file size or lens info. Is this possible?

  Previews yes.
  
  Thumbnails no. Given the small size of a thumbnail a large description beneath it would seem to be defeating the objective.
  
  However if you use List mode for the thumbnail display more information is available.

  Thanks Grant. I will put in feature request to add it as an option for thumbnails. It would be useful in certain instances.
