how to set sharpening defaults?

Hi,

I want to set certain sharpening settings as default, but when I click "set as default" it does not work. What an i doing wrong?

  The Set as Default should become effective for any NEW image. Existing images receive the previous default value unless you remove the .cos settings file.
  
  Sometimes this leads to confusion. Does this help or do you still think that the new default is never applied?

  Indeed, by new I mean newly imported in Capture One.
