LENS CAST CALIBRATION H25+4X5 camera+90mm lens
for the first time ive noticed a lens cast in my images- a color shift from cyan to magenta. In the calibration directions it says to open up a few stops when placing the calibration plate in front of my lens. however i am alreadyt at f5.6, the wisdest my lens gets. Is there a way that i can correct the cast? Ive tried to do it without opening up, but it does not fix the problem. Im on set with angry clients! HELP!

This may not be a choice, but... make your image exposure F/11, then shoot the LCC card at F/5.6.
Not a choice? then shoot your F/5.6 exposure and shoot the LCC card with the shutter open one stop, and two stops (or adjust the flash power upwards).
The LCC card should look like a mid gray tone to white. I have found that you should place the color eye dropper on the LCC card capture (while in C1) and apply THAT color balance to your other captures BEFORE applying the LCC correction. Then, you may go back and apply the desired color balance to your images after applying the LCC.
While most of my LCC corrections are not perfect, they are close enough to fix residual color shifts in Photoshop.
I hope this gets you there.0
