Capture One 11 locks images

Hello has anyone had problems that when upgrading file folders from capture9 to capture 11 all images in folder are now locked? Every image in the folder had the pencil with a red line through it. Can not make selections or do anything with files.I have been on with email customer service and they are offering no help. I have deleted and reloaded software. I have de-activated and activated software and nothing fixes this problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  Have you had a look at the preferences (enable JPG, TIFF, PNG) ?
  Did you check the permissions are OK on your images storage device ?

  I had a the same problem some time ago and the concerned images were not editable neither by CO nor by any other SW. It was a permission problem which in my case was affecting single images in different folders.
