v9.2 Memory Usage Drop

Due to mostly working in fullscreen mode (not seeing my memory meter) and having 32GB RAM at my disposal, I just recently noticed that v9.2 seems to use substantially less memory than any previous version. It used to consume 5-6GB right off the bat after launch and work its way up to 10GB+ in a matter of a couple hours of working. - Now I'm seeing about 500MB after launch, slowly going up until it keeps hovering around 3GB after a few hours. That would be very much on par with Aperture/Lightroom. Something I have not seen before in C1, ever.

While I often have complaints about C1; credit where credit is due, this is a major (and welcome) improvement! Looking forward to more performance enhancements!

How does it look for others, do you see similar numbers?

  I totally agree with your observation.
  
  But, I have one test machine with 4GB memory (OS X 10.11.5, COP 9.2).
  To put it in simple words, before COP occupied a lot of memory and used only a little portion of it. Now, it occupies much less memory and uses every bit.
  Why I say that? If i look at the memory pressure in the activity application, the pressure is more or less comparable. I can't say that I could work longer or do more heavier work on that particular machine, before the memory pressure gets yellow and red.
  It is just my observation and no thorough investigation!
  
  But nevertheless, It is very good that the memory footprint is getting much smaller!
