Windows Vista and NAS

I believe that has been addressed before but can't seem to find it. I have recently switched from XP to Vista 64. Prior to the switch on XP I could edit files directly on the NAS drive. On Vista, all files are grayed out and cannot do any editing. Any help on directing me to the answer would be appreciated.

  A potential cause could be permission(s) the user has to access the file on NAS. Your Vista computer is a different system, different user. To determine whether it is a permission issue see in CO4 the Library tab, bottom, Info tool. When applicable, check the permissions on the NAS (potentially share and folder/file permissions). Determine whether the permission issue applies to older files (created with your XP system) only or newer files (created with Vista) as well.

  Thanks for the help. I played around with the permissions and finally, when I Mapped the drive everything returned to normal.
