How do we fill the thumbnail view?

How do we fill the thumbnail view?
Too much wasted space when the
primary purpose is to see the image.

  Two things to try:
  
  Go to Window menu -> View Options or access the flyout menu in the upper right of thumbnail view (just under the search bar)
  Play with the Aspect Ratio, Margin and Thumbnail Size menus.
  
  If that doesn't seem to be changing anything, check the options you have selected under the Edit menu -> Thumbnails and Previews for thumbnails and try some different things there. If you are using the built-in thumbnails then changing the thumbnail size doesn't work, I think. Don't forget to rebuild to see your changes.
