C1 6.x On 64Bit?

I have been running C1 ver 6.x on Vista for quite some time with NO issues. That said, I need to replace my machine with a 64 bit machine. Given that I'm HAPPY with how version 6 works, and I'm not yet convinced version 7 is the way to go, I'm wondering if there are any issues with version 6 on 64 bit? Thanks in advance.

  Assuming you refer to 64 bits on Windows (this is the Mac forum), the good news is that it works better then the 32 bit platform.
  
  Don't forget to download the 64 bits version. This is a separate download on Windows.

  Two more questions. As noted earlier, I am planning to purchase a new 64 bit Windows 7 machine, and want to upgrade from version 6 to 7 - eventually. After upgrading, can I continue to use version 6 on my XP machine and ver 7 on the 64 bit machine.
  
  Or, if I download and install version 6, 64 bit on the new machine, can I then upgrade to version 7 and run both on the new machine?
  
  Curious minds need to know what their options are.

  Yes, this is all possible.
  
  You new CO 7 license can be used to activate CO 6 as well and you have 2 activations.
