Poor rotation tool

I am trying to work with the rotation tool which is jarring and utterly unresponsive ,is there a way to make the movements a lot smother ,at the moment it is unuseable .

Though to be honest the whole C4 experience is a great deal less than good

  I concur totally. Now in CO 3.7.9 Pro (and before) they had a rotation tool that would respond by small increments from the keyboard using the arrow keys once you summoned its dialogue box by double-clicking the rotation tool icon. A shame that they left this out, along with the focus tool and a host of excellent former features.
